How entities are linked together

This process defines the interactions between entities involved in the LexCare ecosystem. Once a patient is enrolled he/she will be navigated through all the nodes and produce best results with the help of all entities involved.

Interfaces of LexCare

  • LexMed - Will have three interfaces Patient, Hospital, Doctor
  • LexLab - Testing/ Scanning center
  • LexPharm - Pharmacy

Ultimate process flow breakdown - simplified

Diagram 1.1 - 01

Patient gets sick then books the relevant doctor in a hospital suggested by the system and pays through it.

Diagram 1.1 - 02

According to the doctor's schedule at the particular hospital, the patient attends to the hospital on time with a pre-diagnosis result shared with the doctor.

Diagram 1.1 - 03 & 04

After diagnosis the doctor may prescribe medicine and if the doctor needs further investigations, some tests as well. Then the patient will be guided to the nearest pharmacy where he/she can select, confirm and pay (Diagram 1.1 -03.01 - LexPharm) for the medicine provided by the pharmacy who is already signed up in LexPharm. Similarly the patient can select, confirm and pay (Diagram 1.1 -04.01- LexLabs) for the tests from the test centers who are signed up in LexLabs.

Diagram 1.1 - 05 & 07

Patient gets the medicine delivered or picked up from the pharmacy, and the patient can rate the doctor’s service and mark the wellness after medication.

Diagram 1.1 - 06 & 08

LexLabs will push the test report to both doctor and patient after completion. If the reports are normal and no need of a visit, the doctor can mark it in the LexMed so the patient is not required to visit physically. If the doctor needs the patient to revisit, he/she can mark there.

LexMed

LexMed will have three interfaces, where the patient, hospital and doctor can interact together.

  1. Patient - “At LexCare We’ll always protect our patient’s rights and privacy”

The trigger point of the whole system, through a freely available web and mobile application the patient can sign up to LexMed.

Patient’s been asked to provide below details.

  • Full Name
  • National ID
  • Birthday
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Weight
  • Height
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Residential address

Accordingly a unique user ID will be generated for a particular user after 2FA verification.

The subject will be presented with two options;

  1. Conduct a preliminary diagnosis via the app and get directed to a relevant doctor where the patient can choose from according to ratings, price and availability, who are listed through the hospitals already signed up to LexMed. Users can pay through the system via credit/debit card with a minimum commission fee to Lex and no cancellation fees from the user.If the doctor is a no-show money will be refunded 100% to the user.
  2. Or if the user knows which doctor to see, he/she can follow the above procedure directly without any questionnaires.

After booking an appointment, the patient will have several in-app reminders about the session. When the doctor arrives it’ll be notified through the system. Also an ETA, current patient number will be displayed in a real time window to the user.

  1. Hospital - “LexMed will ensure easy, efficient and profitable service to all LexMed clients”

Hospital is the middle party who facilitates the doctor’s service to the patient. They’ll have a separate interface to deal with. When a patient selects a certain doctor at a certain hospital, our system will prioritize services provided by the same organization. Valid only for organizations that have their own labs and pharmacies.

Ex- If a patient selects a doctor from Nawaloka, LexLabs will prioritize test centers from Nawaloka, and pharmacies from Nawaloka.

With the unique id created for the patient, he/she will go through a cycle which is beneficial for all parties included.

Hospitals also will have to sign up and connect their doctor information with LexMed. Hospitals should have an administrator to look after the system, adjust doctor times, and feed new data, scheduling sessions. Scheduling tools can be added to the system if there's a requirement. Can  acquire from the doctor's time table and make a draft schedule based on that data.

All receiving patient payments and outgoing doctor payments are processed through the system along with the automation facility to transfer the doctor amount automatically after the end of each session. Day totals, monthly, yearly data will be stored and can be viewed, shared with higher management.

Hospitals will be able to list their other services too, full body checkups, body fat analyzing, etc.

  1. Doctor - “LexMed will unleash doctor’s full potential with swift interactions”

We’ll get doctors to sign up directly or through the hospital with their speciality. Managing the doctor time table can be done by the hospital or doctor too can change pre arrange session times only(Scheduling doctor sessions should be handled by the hospital) and such changes it’ll be broadcasted to patients.

Key entity of the LexCare system, doctors will have an interface linked to all patients regardless of the hospital. Can manage calendars accordingly as well. Doctors can view, analyze both actual and estimated ,daily, monthly and yearly income easily through the app. Doctors will be presented with a pre-diagnosis report before the patient arrives, and should be able to write/select prescriptions on the system. Ability to view test reports and marking them accordingly can reduce the time they’ll have to spend on the same patient if there’s no need to revisit just to show the reports. If the patient needs to revisit, the doctor can mark that too.

By saving time of the doctor, patient numbers can be increased drastically. Eventually increasing the revenue of the Hospital and doctor.
